Virtual Field Testing is a way of replicating field conditions within a lab environment with very short timescales. Digital TV Labs has an extensive library of benchmarked DVB-T/T2/C/H, ISDB-T and analogue RF recordings that can faithfully reproduce real RF field conditions in a lab environment.

Digital TV Labs maintains a complete library of thousands of DVB-T/T2/C/H, ISDB-T and analogue RF recordings. We continuously add hundreds of new recordings as our field tours progress, ensuring that our test suites are up to date and totally representative of what is going on in the end consumers' living rooms.
Our expert geographical knowledge of over 500 testing sites across Europe and South America allows us to provide recordings of challenging broadcasting conditions, from predetermined areas where our engineers have experienced and documented receiver failures in the past.
Our Virtual RF Test Suites consist of carefully selected libraries of the most challenging RF captures that we have experienced, and enable field validation for receiver front-ends in a repeatable and controlled environment.
Antennae Testing and Benchmarking
Many consumers access their DTT services through indoor antennae and devices with in-built aerials. Signal levels are attenuated within buildings which often results in weak signals, so the quality of the antennae is crucial to a good user experience.
Digital TV Labs is able to provide a professional and independent service to test and benchmark such antennae, with comprehensive test equipment within an anechoic test facility.
